Summer is ending and, for many of us, it makes us nostalgic for our childhood vacations: long, carefree days spent by the beach, in the woods, or with friends and family. However, for many of us, those days seem long gone. Vacation days are few and far between. Work and personal responsibilities end up swallowing any free time we have. Even when we do take vacation, we end up working for part of it. As a consequence, we can feel drained and exhausted. The good news is that recent research is showing us that – even if we don’t have time to take a long break – there are a few things you can do in your daily life that will help you recharge.
